They grouped people as inactive, insufficiently active, weekend warriors (≥150 min/week in 1–2 sessions), or regularly active, measuring heart-related deaths and overall mortality.
Findings showed weekend warriors had 33% lower heart death risk and 21% lower all-cause mortality compared to inactive folks. Regularly active people saw similar benefits, proving even minimal exercise packs a punch for heart health in diabetes.
